This group show invites a number of artists to produce their own version of one of the Louvre's masterpieces. On this occasion, Ghada Amer pays tribute to one of her favorite artists, Ingres, and offers a feminist "copy" of his "La Grande Odalisque."

Aptly titling her copy "La Grande Odalisque avec Cadre," Ghada Amer dares her viewers to look at what has traditionally been hidden from view.

Open until January 12, 2026, this exhibition presents an exciting dialogue between tradition and modernity, inviting you to reflect on the act of copying and how it continues to shape the creative process today.
