'Experience Leonard Cohen' brings together the work of four contemporary artists—George Fok, Judy Chicago, Candice Breitz, and Marshall Trammell—each responding in a deeply personal way to the life, legacy, and lyrical power of Leonard Cohen. Presented as a series of solo exhibitions, the project invites visitors into immersive, contemplative spaces that explore Cohen’s enduring influence as a poet, singer and spiritual seeker.
Breitz's presentation features the work I’m Your Man (A Portrait of Leonard Cohen), a nineteen-channel video installation presented across two spaces. The work brings together a community of eighteen ardent Leonard Cohen fans—each of whom has cherished Cohen’s music for over half a century—to pay posthumous tribute to the late legend.
