Pamela Phatsimo Sunstrum featured in 'Born in Flames, Feminist Futures'

Pamela Phatsimo Sunstrum is included in the group exhibition 'Born in Flames: Feminist Futures' at The Bronx Museum of the Arts in New York. The exhibition is a constellation of imagined world-scapes projected by fourteen contemporary artists. Each section is a microcosmic speculation on what could have been, what is, or what is to come — worlds steeped in lessons of complicated pasts, peppered with the ravages of oppression but also blooming joy. The artists in the exhibition critically examine struggles for liberation by exploring strategies for justice and equality through multifaceted futurisms.
