This year, Olivier Award-winning artist and filmmaker William Kentridge makes his long-awaited Glynebourne Festival debut with a new staging of Monteverdi’s 'L’Orfeo'. Known for his expansive practice utilising drawing, animation and performance, Kentridge brings a new perspective to one of opera’s earliest and most enduring masterpieces.
